Do you have, or know, a student athlete playing the fall season? Do you want to support athletes at CRLS? Do you want to meet other caregivers and help build community across the teams and within Cambridge?
If so, join the Friends of Cambridge Athletics (FOCA) meeting on Tuesday September 12th, 6pm – 6.45pm. At the meeting, we will get an update from the Athletics Director, talk about what FOCA does and share updates on current FOCA initiatives and other team news.
Some fall sports teams (track and field, girls volleyball, unified intermurals) are still looking for team liaisons – caregivers or friends of athletes who will support the students and the coaches, and caregivers. The role is a collaboration between the coach and the liaison, requires no minimum time commitment and is a great way to be engaged in the school. FOCA is a volunteer, parent-led non-profit organization supporting CRLS athletic teams and clubs, through collaboration with the Athletic Director, coaches, PE and Health staff and other school and city leaders.
