Do you have or know a student athlete? Do you want to support athletes at CRLS? Do you want to meet other caregivers and help build community across the teams and within Cambridge? If so, Zoom in and learn about the Friends of Cambridge Athletics (FOCA) on Tuesday October 11, 6pm – 7.30pm (Zoom details below). 

FOCA is a volunteer, parent-led non-profit organization supporting CRLS athletic teams and clubs, through collaboration with the Athletic Director, coaches, PE andHealth staff and other school and city leaders.

FOCA is looking to reengage the Community so that we can support the sports teams more actively, now that the schools have opened up to the Community again. We are looking for interested individuals to help reshape FOCA’s mission, goals and activities. If you have ideas and opinions about ways to support the sports teams, or specific skills that you would like to put to good use (e.g. web-building skills, event management, fundraising, knowledge of businesses in the community), please join us to learn more!

About Friends of Cambridge Athletics (FOCA)
FOCA collaborates with the CRLS Athletics Department, PE/Health staff and city leaders, serving as a booster club (and fiscal conduit), fundraising for teams, providing grants for equipment, training and travel and by offering scholarships to graduating seniors.

About Andrea Harvey Memorial Fund (AHMF)
AHMF honors the memory of Andrea Harvey, a CRLS Alumna by educating and raising awareness about domestic violence and providing scholarships for college-bound CRLS seniors in her name, as well as Les Kimbrough, a long time educator and Dean of Students at CRLS.

Tickets are $25 each (larger donations welcome) and may be purchased online here through EventBrite, or with cash, check or credit card at the door. Coaches are free!  

Proceeds benefit the FOCA Development Fund and will support athletic endeavors at CRLS through grants to teams. The raffle this season is a 50/50 (the winner will get 50% of the raffle proceeds – you must be present to win)! All guests are also eligible for a fabulous MYSTERY door prize and can bid on Silent Auction Items.
